AgilePM® Foundation

AgilePM is a project management method developed by The Agile Business Consortium and accredited by APMG, whereby the project is undertaken incrementally, making it easier to determine what the changes and risks will be and thus making it easier to deal with them if and when they do arise. Each aspect of the project is revised at certain, predetermined times. This will ensure that, if a problem or obstacle arises, the situation can be rectified and, if necessary, the project can be steered in a different direction.

What does this qualification cover?

The AgilePM Foundation course is the first level of training in the Agile method. It teaches students the fundamentals of the Agile method and gives them the ability to apply the method to projects in a practical situation.

The AgilePM Foundation certification is recognised internationally and is accepted as one of the leading project management methods. This is why it has remained a popular choice for those that strive to break into the field of project management and with employers alike. Gaining the Agile Foundation certification will ensure that you have given yourself a greater chance at starting a sought after career in the project management sector.

Qualification membership

Upon passing your first exam you will be given 1 years free membership to the Agile Business Consortium. The Agile Business Consortium are a professional body for Business Agility who have been around for 25 years and the brains behind AgilePM.

Who can take this qualification?

There are no official prerequisites that need to be met to study the Agile Foundation training course.

The Agile Foundation course is the first level of Agile project management training and passing the Foundation exam is a prerequisite for studying the Agile Practitioner course. Once you have passed your Agile Foundation exam you will be awarded the Agile Foundation certification from APMG International. This qualification is internationally recognised.

Qualification equivalent

This qualification is NQF Level 5, which equates to a Higher National Certificate.
